Introducing the Vivo Y27s: 90Hz Display and 50MP Camera, All for Just $153
The Vivo Y27s is the latest
addition to the Y-series. This handset has been officially launched in Indonesia,
and it features numerous noticeable improvements over its brothers, the Vivo
Y27 and Y27 5G.
Design and
Display
One of the most significant
changes is the addition of a new punch-hole screen. The Vivo Y27s has a
6.64-inch 1080p LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Within the punch hole
cutout is a single selfie camera, and the smartphone has a side-mounted
fingerprint scanner built into the power button.

its IP54 water and dust resistance, which adds to its endurance.

Software
The gadget is powered by a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB
UFS 2.2 storage, extendable via a microSD card slot.
In
terms of software, the phone runs Vivo's Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android 13.
Cameras
On the back, there's a 50MP
primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth camera, which is the same
as on the other two Vivo Y27 variants. The main camera can record 1080p video
clips at 30 frames per second. The selfie camera inside the punch-hole cutout
is an 8MP snapper with 1080p video recording capabilities.
Battery and
Pricing
There is a 5,000 mAh battery onboard that can
be charged at 44W via the USB C connector.
In Indonesia, the Vivo Y27s
is available in Burgundy Black and Garden Green for a starting price of $153.
